Join Middle Eastern dance classes with Robyn W. Gordon on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Open to all ages and skill levels, these lessons are designed to suit individual paces, with foundational moves practiced continuously to build confidence. Join Karol Wilson, doctor of physical therapy, for a three-month fall prevention Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance class. Wilson, with 30 years of experience, is excited to introduce this evidence-based program, developed by the Oregon Research Institute. Classes are on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. and free of charge. Held Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m., these sessions focus on restoring and enhancing strength, function, flexibility and balance. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, loose clothing and bring their own yoga mat and blocks. The class fee is $15 per session, with a discounted rate of $12 for Orcas Senior Center members. A 10-class pack is available for $100. Discover a mix of local artisan booths, vintage gems, tools, collectibles and one-of-a-kind household items — all in one festive marketplace. Have something to contribute? We’re gladly accepting donations of new or gently used items at OSC Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (no furniture or clothing).
