Final opera of the summer to stream

Rossini’s beloved comic opera The Barber of Seville, staged by Tony award-winning director Bartlett Sher, features an all-star cast including tenor Juan Diego Flórez as Count Almaviva, mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato as Rosina, and baritone Peter Mattei in the title role of Figaro. John Relyea sings Don Basilio, and John Del Carlo sings Doctor Bartolo. Maurizio Benini conducts.
