The Orcas Island Education Foundation would like to thank all the community members who came out last Saturday to the Youngren Farmhouse sale. It was a spectacularly beautiful fall day. Everyone was gracious and patient. And we were able to sell almost ALL of the farmhouse and barn contents. It was a huge success benefitting our public schools.

A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped: Kyle and Kim Freeman, David Kau, Susan Stoltz, Janna and Phil Carter, Michelle Reed, Blythe Simpson, Hilary Canty, Kate Long, Chris Sutton, Holly Petitjean, Suzanne McClure, Kathy Staub, and Paul Sheridan. They did a fantastic job.

Thank you most of all to the Youngren family for their generosity in allowing OIEF to hold this sale. It was an amazing gift for our schools; our deepest gratitude to all of them.
