By popular demand, Sara Munson of The Local Vine in Seattle returns to the Outlook Inn in a fundraising event for Children’s House on April 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The event will feature a champagne  reception, followed first with the pairing of exceptional white   wines with small plates, followed by the pairing of excellent red wines with small plates. Sara will present information about these wines, what characteristics to look for in a wine, and how our palates learn to appreciate the various components that make a good wine. Those that attended last year’s event found their experience  to be wonderful.

Outlook Inn will be hosting the event, and Steve  Debaste, Outlook Inn’s wonderful Chef will be preparing the small  plates. Music will occur between presentations and will be performed by the Bodalo Trio, local musicians featuring cello, clarinet, and piano who have played at many Brown Bag Concerts. They will be playing works by Max Bruch, C.P.E. Bach, and Paul Juon. The funds generated from this event will support Children’s House, a preschool early learning program utilizing a play-based curriculum that has been shown to benefit children in many measured ways.
