Orcas Island Food Bank donation barrels are at Island Market and the Orcas Food Co-op.
“We’re so grateful for the Market’s community spirit, dedication to keeping every table full, and vision for a stronger, thriving island,” says Amanda Sparks, food bank executive director. “A big thank-you to Co-op leadership and members for your continued support — we’re so grateful for this partnership.”
The donation barrels are easy to use — simply pick up a shelf-stable item (canned corn, beans, fruit, spaghetti, coffee and more) while you shop and drop it in the barrel. Each barrel includes a full list of requested donations.
Whether it’s one can or a whole bag, every donation makes a difference.
You can also use the QR code on the barrel or visit orcasislandfoodbank.org/donate to give directly.
If you have donations from home, please drop them off anytime in the food bank’s 24-hour shed at 116 Madrona St. — the barrels are for in-store purchases only.
Together, we can keep our neighbors nourished and our island strong.
