After his November performance at Sea View Theatre (135 guests, 4.95 out of 5 stars from 21 reviews), professional magician Henry ‘Oz – The German Magician returns with a special holiday show at Odd Fellows Hall on Sunday, Dec. 28, with doors opening at 3 p.m. and the show starting at 4 p.m.
The Holiday Magic Special comes at the perfect time — between Christmas and New Year’s celebrations — offering families and friends a chance to gather for an afternoon of wonder and laughter. “Magic reminds us that wonder still exists in the world,” Henry said, “and the holidays are the perfect time to share that with our community.”
This December show marks Henry’s return to public performance following his successful Sea View Theatre debut, which received a standing ovation from 135 guests.
The show features audience interaction, comedy, mystery games and carefully selected illusions suitable for all ages. “The theme is simple,” Henry explains, “mystery, playful games, and pure joy — perfect for the holiday season.” A meet and greet with Henry follows the performance, giving attendees a chance to chat with the performer and learn more about the art of magic.
With over 50 professional performances annually and experience performing in both Germany and the United States, Henry brings a unique European flair to his American audiences. His German accent and self-deprecating humor have become signature elements of his shows. Since relocating to Orcas Island in December 2023, he has become a familiar face at island weddings, birthday celebrations, Christmas parties, and private and business events.
“This is also a wonderful time to think about gift-giving,” Henry noted. “Tickets make a perfect holiday present — an experience families can share together rather than another item that ends up in a closet.”
Tickets are available now at german-magician.com with pre-sale pricing of $24 (senior/veteran: $20). Day-of-event tickets are $30 (senior/veteran: $25).
The historic Odd Fellows Hall, built in 1891, provides an intimate setting for the performance, with a capacity of 180 seats. Seating is first-come, first-served, so early arrival is encouraged.
