The Lady Vikings traveled south Saturday for an end of the year, non-league softball challenge against the defending 2B State Champions, the Adna Pirates. Scheduled annually by Coach Scott Harris as an opportunity to play against one of the best teams in the state.
Freshman Roo Smith played his best round at the right time and shot a low score for the year of 77 to place second. Graye Parnell shot a 97 and made 11th place. Mara Nutt, also a freshman, remarkably qualified with a 127 to place 5th.
