Orcas Family Resource Center has moved to new office at Kaleidoscope

The new Orcas Family Connections office, which officially opened its doors on Wednesday, Sept. 7, is located in Eastsound at 1292 North Beach Road, at Kaleidoscope child care center.

Orcas Family Connections, which is Orcas Island’s Family Resource Center, is hosting an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The larger office will offer the same community support from staff and board of directors.

OFC’s “Family Support Specialist” Erin O’Dell says she will have more space and resources to help community members.

“The new office is very complementing to our mission, which is to strengthen all of our island families to ensure the long term success of our community,” O’Dell said. “With this move to a larger office, we embrace the stability of our accomplishments, which we would like to celebrate with you, our community! Many of you are to thank for OFC’s ongoing support offered to our fellow Orcas neighbors, so please join us next Wednesday for our open house.”
