Concerns over broadband | Letter

In reference to OPALCO tackling broadband, two ominous sentences caught my attention.

Rates will go up to pay for it, and we will expand just like we did electricity in the 1930s – those closest to the source will get it first and we will work our way out to provide service. I live “out.” Will I be paying those higher rates while I wait for service? Uh no thanks.
