A resident of Orcas Island since 2001, McKeaver showcases a striking collection of work in acrylics, ink and watercolors. Her bold and imaginative paintings draw inspiration from both photography and pure creativity, offering viewers a diverse and captivating visual experience.

Discover the joy of drumming with the Spirit of Drumming Group at Orcas Senior Center on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.! This beginner-friendly group focuses on exploring the elements of drumming. There’s no cost to participate — just bring a drum and join the fun!

Holiday Magic at Orcas Senior Center

Step into the season at Orcas Senior Center, where a charming selection of holiday decor is available for free or by donation until Dec. 25. Stop by 62 Henry Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after.

You will find sparkling ornaments, candle holders, playful figurines, Christmas village pieces and other surprises. Whether you want to add something special to your home or simply look through a mix of festive sundries, you are warmly invited to take home whatever brings you joy. All donations benefit Orcas Senior Center.
