Orcas Island Storage has opened a new self-storage facility in Eastsound. It is located at 1438 Mt. Baker Road, next door to the NAPA Auto Parts store. It opened Nov. 1.

The facility is fully climate-controlled, meaning dry and 60-70 degrees, winter and summer. Entry to the interior of the building is through security doors with your own code. There is also video surveillance for your security.

Steve and Nancy Schaefer, owners of the business, are 15-year Orcas Island residents and have owned Island Storage on North Beach Road for the last 10 years.
