Orcas Center is thrilled to announce a special performance featuring Rafe Pearlman & Friends alongside Micaela Kingslight on Sunday, July 13 at 5 p.m. on the Village Green. This free event is part of Orcas Center’s Summer Concert Series and is made possible by Orcas Center, Doe Bay Resort, GiveOrcas/Orcas Island Community Foundation and San Juan County, along with many local businesses and individual donors.

Pearlman, a renowned vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, began his musical journey in the Alaskan wilderness, drawing inspiration from the natural world. His performances have taken him across the globe, including appearances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, America’s Got Talent and various international festivals. For this performance, he will be joined by an ensemble of talented musicians including Chihsuan, Daniel Berkman, Micaela Kingslight, Kevin Colomby and Josh Mellinger. Together, they will deliver a captivating blend of world music, folk and soul, creating an immersive auditory experience.

Kingslight is a multi-dimensional sound healer and musician known for her fusion of acoustic and electronic elements. Her music combines conscious songwriting with diverse instrumentation, drawing from folk, blues, soul and electronic pop influences. Accompanied by the esteemed bass player Krivo Flores, Kingslight’s performance promises to be a dynamic and soulful addition to the evening.
