Deer Harbor Community Club receives Robin DiGeorgio Endowment award

The Deer Harbor Community Club is thrilled to announce that they are the 2025 recipients of the Robin DiGeorgio Endowment award.

The award is presented to qualified students and charities in our community. This award is presented in association with the Madrona Club of Orcas Island. The Madrona club was formed in 1906 to create a deep and lasting impression upon the culture and residents of Orcas Island. Robin DiGeorgio was a longtime resident of Orcas Island and served for many years as the president of the Madrona Club. Her willingness to improve the lives of Orcas Island residents and our community lives on through this generous endowment.

The Deer Harbor Community Club is forever grateful and humbled to receive this generous gift. The funds will help renovate our 120-year-old historic schoolhouse so future generations can continue to create a lasting and loving community.
