Island bocce ball players take home second in tournament

The Orcas bocce ball team Island Movers came in second place in the 15th Annual Bellingham Bay Bocce Tournament on May 6. The team consisted of Monty Coffey, Isaac Frausto, Justin Frausto and Ian Harlow.

The event is a benefit for the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center and raised $11,000 towards the organization’s mission, which is to provide and promote constructive and collaborative approaches to conflict through mediation, training, facilitation and community education.
