Want to get your feet wet and test the waters of theater? This is  your chance. January 31 is the deadline for aspiring writers to turn in short play submissions.   We want to celebrate the new year with new and fun local works by island playwrights.  Seven local writers will be selected for a full  production that will take place the last weekend of April, and the first weekend of May.   Everyone has a story, and this will be your chance to tell it.  We are not talking “War and Peace”, but a simple 10-minute play with a small cast and limited props is perfect.  Even if you have never tried this before, you will get help and guidelines along the way.  Writers will get feedback and revision help if needed.  This community is filled with talent and stories, and this is an exciting way to show it.  Send us your best work.
