Groundbreaking ceremony planned for new fire station

Orcas Fire and Rescue will hold a brief groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the site of the future Deer Harbor fire station at 13 Legend Lane.

A Board of Commissioners work session will follow at the Deer Harbor community center at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will discuss construction of the new fire station.
