Passersby stare as a lovely – and shivering – model clad in the latest spring attire poses for a photo crew in front of the historic Episcopal Parish hall.

A cold wind whips in off East Sound waters as sea-reflected sunlight highlights her auburn hair.

A crew from Norm Thompson is conducting a photo shoot on Orcas Island this week, creating images for upcoming clothing catalogues showcasing the company’s spring and winter lines. They’re shooting in Eastsound today and will highlight Norm Thompson’s upcoming nautical-themed attire back-dropped by the Deer Harbor marina docks tomorrow.

Yesterday they conducted a shoot at the Inn at Ship Bay, where the crew is staying during the trip.
