Wildlife Cycles announces its annual “Wildlife 100” bike ride on Sunday, August 15, now marking its 19th year. Riders will leave the Wildlife Cycles shop at 6 a.m. for a 32 mile ride on Orcas, then take the ferry to ride 35 miles on Lopez, finishing off the day with a 33 mile jaunt on San Juan island for a total of 100 miles. Riders are asked for a $10 donation that goes to support Orcas Rec, and may join the ride at any point. The group will arrive at the Lopez ferry landing at 10 a.m. and at the Friday Harbor ferry landing at 1:55 p.m. For more information, call Wildlife Cycles at 376-4708.
