“A Dog’s Life: the Musical” by Sean Grennan and Leah Okimoto will be wagging tails at the Grange Nov. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 16 and 23 at 1 p.m.

All proceeds will be donated to the Orcas Animal Protection Society. Tickets are $15 and are available at www.adogslifeonorcas.com or at the door.

“A Dog’s Life” tells the story of Joelle (Victoria Smith), who doesn’t want a dog; she wants her boyfriend back, and he wants a dog. But when he refuses to get back together, Joelle becomes the reluctant owner of Jack (Ryan Braun).

Big Dog (Larry Hampel) wants to be adopted alone, but his only way out includes yippy Little Dog (Dorrie Braun). For both of these pairs, initially hesitant relationships blossom into profound friendships.

Blending comic and touching moments, this musical is an uplifting tale of companionship, our time on this earth and simple, unconditional love.
