Orcas family caregivers’ afternoon off

Knowing your care partner is in good hands and enjoying themselves in a safe environment will give you the peace of mind to take a few hours for yourself. The Orcas Lions Club, with support from the Orcas Senior Center, is now offering Partners in Care, a family caregiver support program.

Every Monday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Orcas Senior Center, trained volunteers, along with a certified caregiver, provide meaningful and fun engagement in socialization, games, craft projects, music and more. Lunch is provided ($6 to the Senior Center), and the program is by donation.
