Missing Orcas | Letter to the Editor

Greetings,

I am staying at the Saint Francis Care Center in Bellingham, WA, and have been here since the last few days of June 2021. I believe it is a virus.

My body is healthy, except for my brain. My brain has healed somewhat but does need to heal more. My body is in good shape, except since we can’t really go walking outside (mostly locked in) my legs are getting less strong.

I am eating well — three meals a day.

The many people who work here are very nice and have an uplifting outlook. Nice.

I miss being on Orcas and working in the Salon – Celtic Beauty. I hope I’ll be well-enough soon to be back and to be doing hair on Orcas.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me cards and to those of you who have called me. It means a lot to me and lifts my spirits.
