The performers are arriving and rehearsals are starting! Opening night is this Friday, Aug. 6 for the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival. Wherever you are, you can stream this year’s festival, free from now until it concludes closing night on Saturday, Aug. 21.
We are thrilled to be working with the technical wizards at our venue, Orcas Center, to bring you a wonderful multi-camera streaming experience. Livestream Director and Lighting Designer Jake Perrine and Video Mix and Livestream Operator Erin Bennett, together with our Video Director Adam Stern and audio engineer Roger Sherman, will create a top-notch, intimate, and wonderful experience!
You can watch at no charge, thanks to sponsorship from the Robert Henigson Board Designated Fund. There are no limits to how many can join us on the live stream, so spread the word to friends and relations near and far — now is their chance to experience the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival! If you can’t watch while the concerts are being played live, the streams will still be available for viewing for 72 hours after the performance. Registration is required; you (and they) can sign up by scrolling down to the Livestream Concerts section here.
Thanks to Jake, Erin, Orcas Center Executive Director Dimitri Stankevich, and the whole team at Orcas Center for working with us to bring these live streams to the world, in the best imaginable way!
