Playfest 2018 seeks playwrights

The 13th annual 10-minute PlayFest is underway. Put your pen to paper or fingers to keyboard and submit a short play based on the theme, thirteen.

Playfest organizers are looking for short play submissions from local writers. Whether you are a seasoned playwright or a brand new writer, they would love to consider your work. Organizers will choose seven plays for a full production to be performed in May at The Grange. For guidelines, contact Michele Griskey at mmgriskey@rockisland.com or 376-3848. You can submit anytime before Jan. 31.
