Lopez volleyball tops Grace Academy

Lopez finished out their 2011 home schedule with a decisive victory over the Grace Academy Eagles. Lopez took 3 of 4 games, with winning scores of 25-7, 25-21, and 25-9. In the second game, Lopez nearly overcame a 13 point deficit, running off 8 straight points before losing 25-19.
The match began by honoring the Lobos’ three graduating seniors Vilina Sanburn-Bill and captains Sarah Stanley and Marina Steinbrueck in their final home game. Lopez remains undefeated in league play and is preparing for Tri-Districts at Crescent on Nov. 2.
