Legislative session outcomes, new vessel program, and fares to be discussed at WSF meeting

Washington State Ferries is holding two community meetings on Wednesday, June 8.

The first is a joint community meeting with WSF and the Anacortes Rotary from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, 1019 8th Street (corner of 8th Street and O Avenue), Anacortes. RSVP to 360-293-8088 or dclark@capsantecourt.com. Lunch is optional for $11.

The second community meeting is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the San Juan County Council Chambers, 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor. This meeting will be streamed live on the San Juan County Web site, http://www.co.san-juan.wa.us/.

For both meetings, Assistant Secretary David Moseley will be on hand to discuss the 2011 Legislative session outcomes, the new vessel program, the fare proposal process, and route-specific issues.
