Evergreen State operating behind schedule

The Washington State Ferries has released the following service update. The Evergreen State, which has replaced the Yakima, is operating 30 minutes behind schedule. The 87-car Evergreen State is a smaller and slower vessel than the 144-car Yakima, currently undergoing needed repairs. Customers can expect delays until the Yakima returns to service.

Customers can expect delays until the Yakima returns to service.

This will affect the following sailings from Anacortes: 7:40 a.m. to Shaw and Orcas and the 10:20 a.m. sailing to Lopez and Friday Harbor.
The Evergreen State will also be delayed from Friday Harbor at 5:55 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.; from Orcas at 8:55 a.m.; from Shaw at 9:10 a.m. and from Lopez at 6:40 a.m. and 12:55 p.m.
