The Washington State Ferries has released the following service update.
The Evergreen State, which has replaced the Yakima, is operating 30 minutes behind schedule. The 87-car Evergreen State is a smaller and slower vessel than the 144-car Yakima, currently undergoing needed repairs.
Customers can expect delays until the Yakima returns to service.
This will affect the following sailings from Anacortes: 7:40 a.m. to Shaw and Orcas and the 10:20 a.m. sailing to Lopez and Friday Harbor.
The Evergreen State will also be delayed from Friday Harbor at 5:55 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.; from Orcas at 8:55 a.m.; from Shaw at 9:10 a.m. and from Lopez at 6:40 a.m. and 12:55 p.m.
