A CPR and first aid class for children and adults grade five and older will be held on July 28 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Eastsound Fire Hall.

The class includes adult and child CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator training, the general principles of first aid and medical, injury and environmental emergencies. Infant CPR will be covered based on participant interest.

Register by July 23 by calling Orcas Island Recreation Program at 376-5339, on-line at www.orcasrec.org, or by picking up forms at the Senior Center or the public library. The cost is $20. Attendees should bring a sack lunch. The class meets government requirements.
