The Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival has added Stage Seating to the “European Interlude” concerts Friday, Aug.t 15 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, Aug. 16 at 5:30 pm.

Aloysia Friedmann and Jon Kimura Parker begin the evening in Spain in Turina’s rarely heard and beautiful Scène Andalouse. Then join charismatic violinist Chee-Yun and pianist Ian Parker in France for Saint-Saëns’ violin Sonata. Baritone Philip Cutlip will bring the audience into Schubert’s home in Vienna for a set of Lieder, and the European evening concludes in Germany for Schumann’s rousing Piano Quintet.

You won’t want to miss this fabulous concert.
