Musician Katie Gray will release her new record, “Love Like Fire,” on Sunday, August 28 at the Odd Fellows’ Hall. The party is open to the public.

“Come one, come all and join in the celebration of this brand new musical birth,” organizers say.

The evening will begin at 7 p.m with an introductory acoustic set by Gray, followed by a meet and greet with the album’s production team and a live listen to some of her new tracks.

The album features nearly 30 musicians, including Orcas’ own Martin Lund, a Seattle orchestra, a background choir of children from the Congo, and a Uillean pipe player.

“After being “in the works” for over three years and with the incredible support and dedication from the album’s producer and engineer, Jim Bredouw, this is sure to be a musical masterpiece that Orcas can be proud of,” organizers say.
