The Orcas Island Farmers Market is hosting a Harvest Festival on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Village Green.
As the summer season winds down and signals the transition to fall, the market is heading into the last few outdoor markets before we move indoors to the Orcas School Cafeteria for our fall market. The indoor market will run from Oct. 5 to Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
To celebrate the end of a successful 2024 season, the Harvest Festival will be chock-full of awesome activities, including face-painting, a GIANT zucchini contest, three beautiful harvest basket raffle prizes and two fabulous local musical guests: Run for the Roses to start and Baker and West to finish!
Harvest Basket Raffle tickets are available now daily at Orcas Art & Gifts until Sept. 28 and at the Farmers Market every Saturday at the EBT/Market Manager booth. Don’t miss your chance to win one of three baskets of goodies from most of our vendors, including handmade jewelry, ceramics, art, prints, preserved foods, flowers, produce, gift certificates and more!
All raffle ticket proceeds go directly towards replenishing the Susan Osborn Vendor Support Fund! The amount of funds raised decides how many mini-grants we can distribute to vendors in need the following wpring. This year, we were able to support 12 vendors in need.
Raffle Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5. Drawings will be held on Sept. 28 at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Keep your phone nearby!
