Perigee moonrise from Mt. Constitution

Damian Stark snapped this photo of a perigee moonrise from Mt. Constitution on March 19.
“This moon happens about every 20 years. It was 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter,” Stark said. “It was 31,000 miles closer to earth than normal. In this photo it’s about 211,600 miles away.”
