S.W.I.S.H. team places third in tournament

The fourth- and fifth-grade S.W.I.S.H. girls basketball team from Orcas went 8-0 in their regular season and then took third place in a higher division tournament on Dec. 16 in Burlington. The girls played teams from Lynden, Arlington and Mt. Vernon. They were coached by Jay Sack, Sada Ashcraft and Justin Ashcraft.
