Orcas author George Karnikis will discuss ‘West of Parthenon’ with Happy Bookers

Orcas’ Happy Bookers bookclub invited George Karnikis to discuss his newly published memoir “West of the Parthenon” at the Sept. 15 meeting. George and his wife Ingrid responded by inviting members to gather in the stone house George constructed and wrote about. Sitting around their dining table, Ingrid served what she called “a typical Greek luncheonette” of spanakopita accompanied by various Greek cheeses and olives, pepperoncini and rosemary crackers.
