The next Dinner Kitchen is on Aug. 25 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church from 5-7 p.m.

This month’s theme is Chicken Fest 2011. It will feature BBQ chicken and all of the trimmings, including desserts. There will be something for everyone, including a selection of vegetarian dishes and dishes for the kids, too.

Dinner Kitchens are a monthly celebration held year-round at Emmanuel Church. They are a free gift especially for island seniors and food bank participants.
