Jennifer Swanson and Katherine Bryant Ingman are heading to the general election in November for the County Council District 3 position.

According to the San Juan County Elections Office website, as of 10:30 a.m. Aug. 10, Swanson has so far received 2,874 (46.31%) votes. Bryant Ingman has received 2,446 (39.41%) votes. Renee J. Koplan received 842 (13.57%) votes. There were also 44 write-ins.

The Lopez School District passed with 1,043 (75.80%) yes votes. There were 333 (24.20%) no votes.

These numbers will be updated as the ballots continue to be counted and finalized over the next few days.
