Orcas Christian School introduced all of their juniors and seniors to life on a college campus over a long weekend recently.

Principal Terry Pottle stated, “Leaving Orcas and enrolling at a university can be intimidating until you experience what it might be like. This was not a short campus tour but three days on campus, in classes, talking to current students, professors, eating at the caf, exploring athletics, exploring the flight school and sleeping in dorm rooms.”

The university covered most of the expenses for the students’ flights and the on-campus visit.

“It seems to have motivated several of our undecided students to pursue this option,” said Pottle.
