Viking golfers on to state

Three Vikings golfers are headed to the state championship tournament.

Juniors Maia Lewis-Shunk and Zoe Lewis-Shunk were two of the 13 girl golfers in the bi-district to earn a spot in the state competition.

During the bi-district tournament in Oak Harbor on May 16, Zoe shot 88 and Maia shot 107. Junior Ewan Lister shot 100.

The team will travel to Tumwater for the state championship tournament on May 21 and 22.
