Bears and barnacles! SeaDoc Society releases list of all creatures dependent on the Salish Sea

The SeaDoc Society recently released a painstakingly compiled list of all the creatures that depend on the Salish Sea – including barnacle-munching brown bears and tidal marsh beavers.

The list includes 172 species of birds and 37 kinds of mammals that depend on the 17,000-square-kilometer Salish Sea ecosystem.
