Mandy Nigretto and Kristin Mierau participated in the Susan G. Komen Three-day walk in Seattle this past weekend, walking a total of 60 miles.

The event raises money for breast cancer research.

“It was an amazing time filled with lots of laughter, tears and love,” Nigretto said.

The best friends walked under the team name “Binka’s Babes” in honor of Nigretto’s mother, who passed away last year.
