Then on Oct. 30, The Lady Vikings went to La Conner, but unfortunately lost 0-3. The team will head onto districts playing on Nov. 5 against Auburn Adventist.

If they win they will then play on Nov. 7, but if they don’t their season will be complete.

Girls’ soccer

The Lady Vikings finished their season off strong, ending third in the league. Their game on Saturday Oct. 26 was a nail biter, facing off against La Conner at home for their senior game. The game went into overtime with a 0-0 score, and had to go into penalty kicks. The Lady Vikings won PKs with a score of 3-1, without having to shoot the final shot. The final score of the game was 1-0.

On Oct. 30, the team traveled to La Conner to face off once again. This game placed Orcas in the #3 spot when they beat the Braves 1-0. Arla Sutton scored the only goal of the game off of a penalty kick after a foul in the box. This win brought the Lady Vikings soccer season to a close. As Sutton would say, “Third in the league, baby!”

Boys’ soccer

The Vikings finished off the regular season with a clean 12-0 streak. On Oct. 26th, the team took on La Conner for the homecoming game, finishing with a 2-0 win. Then on Oct. 29th, Lopez came to Orcas, and the Vikings pulled through with another victory, ending 12-0.
