Women’s spring luncheon

The community is invited to a Ladies Spring Luncheon on Saturday, April 4 at 11:30 a.m., sponsored by the Orcas Island Community Church.

It will be hosted this year by Camp Orkila in the lodge dining room. Guests will be served one of Camp Orkila’s hot meals with a choice of two entrées: salmon or herb roasted chicken.

Orcas Island’s “homegrown” Natalie Montgomery Warren, the daughter of the late Bill Montgomery, will make a presentation.

This year’s theme is “A Pattern for Life” and the décor will be a display of local quilts and quilted centerpieces. The theme of Natalie’s presentation is “Five Decades Later … the Things God has Taught me Since Cheerleading for OIHS.”

A reservation is required, and the price is $20. Please call Susan Clark at 376-7046 and send checks to “OICC,” PO Box 235, Orcas, WA 98280. Reservations need to be in by March 26.
