On Monday, May 19, customers will be able to use advance reservations to receive priority boarding on the ferry. They will also be able to make both advance and same-day reservations by phone and at the Port Townsend and Keystone terminals starting Monday.

The ferry system began taking advance reservations by phone on Monday, May 12. So far, customers have made over 360 advance reservations for travel on or after May 19. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance of sailing.

Starting Wednesday, May 21, customers will be able to make reservations for the Port Townsend/Keystone route online at www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries.

The pilot reservations program is being implemented to address the Port Townsend/Keystone route’s unique needs for summer 2008 while vehicle capacity is temporarily reduced. Until new vessels are built, the route will be served by one 50-car vessel sailing every 90 minutes. There is no fee to make a reservation.
