Orcas Center annual meeting on March 8

The annual meeting of the Orcas Center membership will be held on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m. At the meeting, election of officers and a new Trustee will be ratified, a report on the financial health of Orcas Center will be provided, and there will be a brief review of 2008 programming successes.

The annual meeting of the Orcas Center membership will be held on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m. At the meeting, election of officers and a new Trustee will be ratified, a report on the financial health of Orcas Center will be provided, and there will be a brief review of 2008 programming successes.

There will also be the announcement of the 2008 recipients of the Margaret Exton Award (for Orcas Center volunteerism) and Bunny Award (best performance in an Orcas Center production).

Following the business meeting, there will be an informal showcase in the OffCenter Stage of elementary school students who are receiving dance and theatre instruction from the Orcas Arts Education Project.

The annual meeting is free and open to all current members of Orcas Center.
