Come lend a hand Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Come early and enjoy a hot cup of coffee before we set out to tidy up the campsites for the upcoming season. It’s a great way to welcome Spring and celebrate our beloved state park.

This is a day filled with raking, scooping, dumping, laughter and a great hot lunch compliments of Friends of Moran.

Bring your gloves, rakes and your friends. We’ll look forward to seeing you at the Cascade Lake day use shelter. Daily parking passes will be available to those who volunteer for the Saturday event. Check in with Ranger Patty to get your day pass.

Saturday, April 23 from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Cascade Lake in Moran State Park

The derby is a celebration of the beginning of fishing season and a rite of passage for Orcas kids.
