Lunch closures for county recording and licensing services Aug. 2-12

San Juan County Auditor Milene Henley announced today that due to a staff shortage, Document Recording and Vehicle and Vessel Licensing services will be closed from noon until 1 p.m. daily from Aug. 2 through Aug. 12.

The Recording and Licensing desks are located in the Auditor’s Office, in the administrative wing of the County Courthouse. Customers who have documents to record or vehicle or vessel licenses to renew are encouraged, if possible, to either come before July 30 or after August 12.

“The Auditor’s Office thanks you for your patience, and apologizes for the inconvenience,” said Henley.

In addition, most county offices, including Recording and Licensing, will be closed for a budget-related furlough day on Monday, Aug. 1.
