A group of island 4-H horse competitors has qualified for the Washington State Fair, Aug. 31 to Sep. 23.

The following riders are eligible to compete: performance – Martha Lum, Margot Van Gelder, Isabella Douglas, Laura Brown and Hunter Buffum; western games – Dylan Roberson, Katelyn Minnis, Erin Lean and Buffum; dressage – Buffum, Van Gelder and Allison Fleming; harness: Buffum.
