Fur and Feathers 4-H club holds elections

by Paris Wilson

On Tuesday, March 15, it was election day for the Fur and Feathers 4-H club. That means that the club voted for a new president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and a reporter for the new year. The following officers were elected: president, Wylie Kau; vice president, Halle Thompson; treasurer, Olivia Brunner-Gaydos; secretary, Rayna Coffelt; and reporter, Paris Wilson. Congrats everybody!

Fur and Feathers is really fun. For a community service experience, the club members will be able to serve scrumptious dinners at the Senior Center. After they serve, they get a meal for themselves. They also get to participate in the County Fair on San Juan Island, and may enter animals, art, cakes or other projects in the Fair. The club members get to go to a club meeting every month, and perform a demonstration. The club meetings are usually held at the Christian School Cafeteria. The adult leader of the Fur and Feathers club is Kathy Morris. For more information, call 376-5599. Hope to see you there!
