The Palace Theatre in Friday Harbor will make available a limited number of free youth admission tickets to the San Juan County Fair. Each day of the fair, it will give away tickets at the theatre from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m., or until the day’s supply are gone, whichever is sooner. Each person can pick up a ticket only for him or herself. The tickets are season tickets, and good for admission each day of the fair.

The San Juan County Fair opens Wednesday, Aug. 12, and runs through Saturday, Aug. 15. The fairgrounds are located at 660 Argyle Avenue in Friday Harbor. The fair opens at 9 a.m. each day.

Youth tickets are valid for children from 5 through 16 years of age. Children under 5 are free.

There will be 200 tickets available the first day of the fair, 100 on each of Thursday and Friday, and 125 on Saturday. Priority will be give on Saturday to youth from islands other than San Juan Island.
