Emmanuel Church and The Dinner Kitchen will host its next community dinner on Thursday, Sept. 23, in the church Parish Hall. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m., and, as always, there is no charge.

This dinner will feature both barbecued and oven-fried chicken and all the trimmings. There will be something for everyone, including a selection of vegetarian dishes, dishes for the kids and desserts.

Dinner Kitchens are year-round events, held on the fourth Thursday of each month. Everyone is welcome, and seniors and Food Bank participants are especially encouraged to attend.
