Head to the Orcas Island Library to play some chess from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 in the library meeting room.

Co-sponsored by the Library and Orcas Island Park and Recreation, this meeting will also be an opportunity to share thoughts about best days and times to meet as well as about what kinds of activities participants would like to see.

They will have plenty of sets available. If you own and would like to use a chess clock, bring it.
